| Mechanically Actuated Switches
External mechanical motion actuates these switches by such means as lanyards, pins or special release mechanisms. They sense events and activate equipment or send signals.

Each model is designed for a specific application, with size and weight, current ratings, method of actuation, number of contacts, sequence of operation and packaging exactly matching the requirements of the vehicle of which it becomes an integral part. A unique feature --- "contained contacts" --- assures operation with low contact resistance, less than two milliseconds of bounce, virtually no chatter, and high contact force.
