Connection System:
 A typical single pin or
multiple connector system consists of a feedthru connector mounted on a bulkhead, and a
female connector that mates with it. To ensure sealing of the mated assembly, the pin
connector has an integrated molded rubber "donut ring" and the female connector
has a boot which, when plugged into the pin, creates an effective liquid-tight seal between
the boot itself and the "donut ring." The boot is either bonded onto or tightly slip fitted into
the outer jacket of the cable. The seal between the pin connector and the bulkhead is made
with a rubber "O" ring.
